The Umkhanyakude Student Film Festival is a community-based youth film initiative founded by Siyabonga Ndlozi under Creative Digital Network, aimed at empowering young people in the Umkhanyakude District of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), South Africa. It is not a mainstream commercial festival but rather a grassroots platform designed to develop, showcase, and celebrate student talent in film and digital storytelling especially from rural and under-resourced communities.
